The event of the year in the field of design!

This year, I will also be attending in Milan to experience the most beautiful event of the year. In Milan, you can see the finest brands, designers showcase exceptional models, and the entire city is focused on design. Below are a few places I will definitely be visiting. The fair takes place from April 7 to 13, 2025. After the event, I will share some posts about my findings, and I will have recharged with plenty of inspiration, trends, and new contacts! New outdoor collection for LIFE outdoor living

Outdoor collection 2025

For the Dutch brand Life Outdoor Living, I had the opportunity to design various products. Together with the team, I developed lighting, tables, chairs, and lounge sets. I would like to highlight two designs.

ANDES LOUNGE

The first design is the Andes Lounge. It was created with a combination of clean lines and subtle curves, a comfortable seating area, and many options for arrangement and color combinations. It’s a tactile design, with a teak wood tabletop for the coffee table, and the corners are always rounded. Click on the link to find the product page on their website.

MOLINO LOUNGE

Additionally, there is a lounge set where the same level of comfort is applied, but where round tubes are the key element of the design: the loungeset Molino. One of the important features of this model is that when it's not in use, meaning without cushions, it still looks interesting. There has been careful consideration of proportions, seating comfort, and the combination of soft and hard materials. It’s a great model offering many possible configurations. My work for Ukkepuk Meubels

An outstanding collection of children furniture!

For several years, I established and managed the furniture brand Ukkepuk Meubels. This brand focuses on baby and children’s furniture, with a strong emphasis on aesthetics, sustainability, and personalized attention. Through various collections, we’ve created a brand that has transformed many children’s rooms. Each collection has its own unique features, with names inspired by the qualities children embody: Fun, Joyful, Bold, Strong, Cool. I would like to highlight some designs.

STERK series.

With the "Strong" series (sterk means strong) , a wardrobe has been designed specifically for children, along with a desk at a comfortable height. The wardrobe features space to display toys and books in the open section, while two doors provide access to a large storage space.

In addition to furniture for children's rooms, there has also been a collaboration with a large childcare center. This facility has a luxurious appearance and excellent furnishings. For this project, I supplied wardrobes and movable tables for multiple locations. These pieces were technically developed and produced in Europe, partly in Romania and partly in the Netherlands. The wardrobes are being used with great pleasure. I took great pleasure in handling everything for the client: design, technical development, mass production, logistics, delivery, and assembly.

Designs for Nouvion

Complete development of chairs and tables

For several years, I worked at the company Nouvion, where I was responsible for the design and development of new products. This included chairs, tables, coffee tables, and the introduction of new materials. Additionally, we developed a new fabric collection for the brand. Clients from the Netherlands, and primarily Germany, have been enthusiastic about these products, which can be found in multiple stores across the country. Production takes place in Poland, where the factory is equipped with a complete carpentry line that produces tabletops from raw wood to finished packaging. The factory also has a large warehouse for fabrics and leather, where everything is cut to order and used to upholster our self-designed chairs.

During my time at Nouvion, I had the opportunity to visit numerous production facilities in Germany, Poland, Bosnia, Turkey, and Romania. I still maintain contact with this network, so if your company is looking to expand production and place items at factories in these countries, I would be happy to assist in setting up a high-quality production line.
